Larry Mauldin Award for Excellence in the Hearing Healthcare Profession, presented to Ron Levitt, AuD, of the Corvallis Hearing Center in Corvallis, Oregon.Ron Leavitt, Au. D., receives 2014 Larry Mauldin Excellence in Teaching Award at AudiologyNow International Conference in Orlando, FL

Ron Leavitt, Audiologist at Corvallis Hearing Center, and Carol Flexer, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, The University of Akron, OH, were recognized at the April, 2013, American Academy of Audiology annual convention for authoring one of the “Best Hearing Aid Research Publications of 2012”.

Ron Leavitt, Audiologist at Corvallis Hearing Center, won the November 2013 competition sponsored by AudioScan to find the best hearing aid programming protocol. The prize, valued at $10,000, awarded Dr. Leavitt was a state-of the-art, REAL-ear Hearing Aid programing and analyzing device for his Corvallis office.

Corvallis Hearing Center and Ron Leavitt, Au.D., received the West Region Best Hearing Healthcare Provider of 2012, sponsored by Rayovac. This annual award is determined by essay nominations from Dr. Leavitt’s colleagues and patients and is based upon community service, patient care and research contributions. Dr. Leavitt’s honorarium for this award was donated to the Disabled American Veterans Fund.

Corvallis Hearing Center was nominated for “Best Hearing Healthcare Professionals of 2011, 2012 and 2013” in a survey by Hearing Review, a national hearing industry publication (www.hearingreview.com).
